POLICY COMMITMENTS

POLICY COMMITMENTS

At Electrosteel Castings Limited, governance is not a compliance checkbox — it is the foundation on which nearly seven decades of trusted manufacturing have been built. Our policy commitments reflect a deliberate, values-driven approach to how we conduct business: with transparency toward stakeholders, responsibility toward communities, and rigour toward the planet.

ECL's governance structure integrates ethics, sustainability, and accountability at every level of the organisation — from the Board to the plant floor. Our policies are reviewed periodically, audited externally, and aligned with both national regulatory requirements and international best-practice frameworks.

REPORTING & DISCLOSURE

Sustainability Report — GRI Standards & Independent Assurance

ECL regularly publishes a comprehensive, full-scale sustainability report — independently third-party assured and prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. This report comprehensively covers all ESG parameters of the company, duly audited for accuracy and completeness.

Our sustainability disclosures are independently assured by BSI under ISAE 3000 — one of the most rigorous third-party assurance standards available. This places ECL among a select group of Indian manufacturers who hold independently verified sustainability credentials.

In alignment with SEBI's Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) framework, ECL also prepares and publishes its BRSR as part of its Annual Report, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of mandatory sustainability disclosure for listed companies in India.
