For corrosive soil environment, Electrosteel has developed a patented process of Zinc Aluminium Alloy Coating which consists of a Metallic Zinc Aluminium Alloy Layer applied by metallization on the pipe surface. The Metallic Zinc Alloy Coating is covered by a finishing layer of a bituminous paint or synthetic resin compatible with the Zinc Alloy Coating.
Zinc Alloy Coating improves the chemical and mechanical stability of the coating. For very corrosive soil, 400gm/cm2 coating deposition is recommended.
