The wrestling world remembers Jatindra Charan Guho - 'Gobar Goho' - the 'wrestling prince from Calcutta' who put India on the wrestling map, in the last century. There were many who scoffed at him but were silenced when he won the World Wrestling Championship in the US in 1921. And went on to have a glorious career.
It's a story that resonates at Electrosteel Castings Ltd - our origins are similar, as are the global accolades we have received across 100 countries over the last 25 + years.
This is why being associated with the 70th Senior State Wrestling Championships, was special for us. Over 250 participants took part, from 10 districts of West Bengal. Just our small way to nurture tomorrow's world beaters.
