Whole-time Director
Mr. Uddhav Kejriwal joined ECL as a Management Trainee in May 2002. After clearing Group II of the CA final examination, he was appointed Whole-Time Director on the Board of the Company in June 2003. Post joining, Mr. Kejriwal was instrumental in implementing Backward Integrated Capital Projects like Coke Batteries, Power Plant, and Sponge Iron plant in Haldia, as well as Srikalahasthi Pipes Ltd (SPL). Mr. Kejriwal was actively involved in the fund-raising initiatives of the Company, on the debt and equity side, and successfully completed initiatives like GDR, FCCB and ECB issues from 2005-2008 followed by Rupee Term Loan Sanction by Exim bank, and the NCD issue later on. He also helped restructure the Foreign Exchange Department of the Company in keeping with Board guidelines and policies to manage the Forex exposure of the Company. Mr. Kejriwal was instrumental when ECL decided to implement SAP for the first time across all locations. He currently oversees the Haldia Plant, the Rubber Products plant in Punganur, and the Coke Ovens in all locations, along with the Company Accounts, and the Coal procurement business of the Company. Mr. Uddhav Kejriwal is a Commerce Graduate from St. Xavier's College Kolkata. After completing his graduation in 2000, he continued to pursue the Chartered Accountancy course and completed his Articleship under Lodha & Company, Kolkata.
